In Broken Hill, the vision of Southern Cross Care is to provide high quality care with compassion to the residents in their senior years and at a time of great vulnerability. This vision is in keeping with the example of the compassion shown by Jesus for those most in need.

In working towards our vision, we aim to provide well trained staff, appropriate facilities for the care we provide and services that are underpinned by a sound financial structure. Thus ensuring ongoing accreditation as an age care provider. In recognising each person in our care as an individual, Pastoral Care is an integral part of the culture of Southern Cross Care.  Care and support are also extended to staff and family members.

With a Catholic outlook, a professional attitude and responsible fiscal management we continue to provide a service with empathy and dignity for our residents, a service renowned for its quality.
